Patis Bakery

This beloved Lyndhurst, NJ bakery has expanded to the Upper West Side, Flatbush and to Crown Heights. They are offering French Crullers as part of their Chanukah menu in flavors like Passion Fruit (Glazed with passion fruit preser,ve and vanilla) and Mexican Canela⁣ (Ground cinnamon, sugar and vanilla bean⁣). Other Chanukah menu highlights include White Chocolate and Cassis cronuts with Spiked white chocolate cream, cassis jam, white chocolate ganache, chocolate detail⁣⁣⁣ and Dulce de Leche Milk Chocolate ⁣⁣⁣cronuts with Creamy chocolate ganache, salted Dulce de Leche, dark chocolate coating, caramel drizzle, Maldon Sea Salt⁣⁣⁣.

 

 

Broad Street Dough Company

From their main location on the Jersey shore, to their additional locations in Freehold NJ and Encinitas, CA, the creativity of Broad Street’s doughnut menu is beyond thoughtful. With vegan and gluten-free doughnut options, there is truly something here for everyone. Their website features far more flavors than we can list here, but some of the more fascinating varieties include peanut butter and jelly, blueberry maple cheesecake, red velvet cannoli, chai tea vanilla, chocolate caramel smores, pumpkin pie streusel, peppermint mocha and chocolate peanut pretzel.

 

 

 

Zak the Baker

A cult-favorite in Miami, this artisanal bakery and cafe has a loyal following and an inspired creative at the helm. Their Chanukah menu is no different, since along with an assortment of flavorful Sufganiyot, they will also be offering leek-infused latkes & flourless olive oil cake (pictured). This year’s doughnut options include: Strawberry Jelly, Dulce De Leche, and Egg Nog Gingerbread. As of press time, they are currently open for pickup and some home delivery as well.

 

 

 

 

Roladin

This popular Israeli chain (with a Valley outpost for those in LA) is perhaps the most creative of all with their assortment of wild flavors complemented with even wilder styling. From meringue dollops, to filled pipettes to jelly up your cakey confection yourself, to pearlized beads and mini-cookie toppings, there is a flavor for every candle burned during Chanukah (36!) Their menu changes yearly, but some of this year’s Aured (and soon-to-be-constantly-Instagrammed) flavors include Mixed Berries Pavlova, Pure Vanilla, Coffee Bean and Cookies and Cream.

 

 

 

House of Kosher

Philadelphia’s gourmet market House of Kosher not only offers a line of unique doughnut flavors (housemade lotus cookie, salted caramel pretzel, strawberry shortcake with a crumble topping, chocolatey Boston creme and the fascinating maple-glazed with candied beef fry, but offers sushi doughnuts from their Rollmasters sushi counter as well. These tempura-dipped rice rounds are filled with fish and veggies, deep-fried and then layered with more fish, veggies, sesame seeds and served with sauces both spicy and sweet.

 

 

 

Delice Bakery

This Los Angeles stalwart brings flair to all of their doughnut flavors, offering classics like vanilla custard and jelly alongside complex, pipette-infused creations like Praline, Pistachio Supreme, meringue-topped Red Heart, white-chocolate enrobed Angel, cookie-topped Caramelo and an almost volcano-like topping of sandwich cookies on its Cookies and Cream. For the picky eaters, they also have nostalgic rainbow sprinkle and sugar-dusted standards, as well as a full menu to complement the dessert (or appetizer!) doughnuts.

 

 

 

Coco Bakery

Londoners are in for a treat this Chanukah from the Golder’s Green-based Coco, whose featured flavors include Ferrero Rocher, Red Velvet, Black Forest Cake, Triple Chocolate, Tiramisu, Salted Caramel and more. These decadently-topped treats are under the KLBD certification and completely Instagram-worthy to hallmark your holiday. They are having a special right now called Your Doughnut, Your Choice, where customers can make their doughnuts to order, customized with the filling glaze and toppings of their choosing.

 

 

 

 

Bread Boutique and Café

New Jersey has new competition for Patis’ crown with the addition of Bread Boutique and Café in Tenafly. This gourmet eatery features a full menu of soups, salads and sandwiches, but their one-of-a-kind doughnut flavors are sure to delight customers over the Chanukah holiday. Featuring over-the-top filled doughnut flavors like white chocolate pistachio, M&M covered chocolate, Nutella Halva, cotton candy (featuring a real sprig of cotton candy on top) and Lotus Biscoff, there are enough wild options to suit the most adventuresome palates. With cookies and cream, peanut butter jelly and deluxe sprinkles too, they have more fascinating flavors to try than there are nights of Chanukah!
