These Hasidic Entrepreneur Brothers Created a Hollywood Fashion Hit

Orthodox Jewish brothers Levi Chayo and Yossi Chayo couldn’t find well-priced and well-made custom black fedora hats, despite the fact that they have worn them since they turned thirteen. While the fedora is a part of the lavush, or uniform that Hasidic Jews wear, it is also a style that has caught on as a hot trend in Hollywood, particularly with entertainers such as Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, Mario Lopez and Cedric the Entertainer. The entrepreneurs now serve dual communities, and their business expanded accordingly, creating custom high-end fedora hats for Hollywood stars and bar mitzvah boys alike. The Crown Heights-based business was started in 2017 and the brothers are proud that it now is bringing together the diverse parts of their own community. Read more here.
