The 16-year-old actor was honored at the 5th Annual Jew In the City All Stars Awards Show in New York. During his acceptance speech, Mazouz thanked his rabbis and parents for teaching him “what a moral compass should look like,” and thanked “Hashem (God) for bringing all of this into my life.”

Rabbis’ Dinner Has Outgrown New York City Venues
The Chabad-Lubavitch movement, a global group of Orthodox Jews that runs 3,500 religious centers, is holding its 34th annual gathering in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood. The conference’s Sunday night dinner, attended by roughly 5,000 rabbis plus guests, has turned into such an oversize affair that Chabad says it could no longer find a suitable venue to stage it within New York City, so they are heading to Bayonne, N.J.
