At the 2nd Annual Jewish Media Awards, held at Lincoln Center on November 12, 2024, actor Jonathan Lipnicki presented the Keter Shem Tov Award to the crew of “We Will Dance Again” for their courageous and compassionate storytelling in the wake of tragedy.
The documentary, distributed by Paramount (which recently merged with Skydance), centers on the October 7th Hamas terror attack at the Nova Music Festival in Israel. It captures the heartbreak, resilience, and humanity of survivors—still reeling, but rising—from unthinkable trauma.
In his speech, Jonathan spoke about his volunteer work with Shabbat Angels in Los Angeles—guiding visibly Jewish people safely home on Shabbat—and praised the heroic survivors of the Nova massacre. “The most desperate moments are filled with unimaginable courage and self sacrifice,” he said.
