Arson at Yeshiva of Flatbush Sparks Manhunt

Police are actively searching for a person who was seen dousing gasoline on the Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School building last night. The gas fueled a fire set by the arsonist, who was seen pouring gas on a fenced-off area. The suspect lit the fire before fleeing the school campus. While the fire, started at 7:30pm did not cause injuries or damage and went out by itself, it understandably has ignited fear in the students and the Jewish community in Brooklyn. Anyone with information or leads as to the arsonist’s identity is encouraged to contact the NYPD.
