UTA Agent Jacob Fenton Introduces “The Patient” at JITC’s 2nd Jewish Media Awards

At the 2nd Annual Jewish Media Awards, held at Lincoln Center on November 12, 2024, UTA agent Jacob Fenton presented the Keter Shem Tov Award to the creators and producers of “The Patient” for their authentic religious details and joyful Jewish storytelling.

“According to a soon-to-be-released study in partnership with JITC and the Norman Lear Center on scripted US TV shows, fewer than one in five characters reference Judaism in their dialogue, and neither shame nor pride about Jewish identity was readily apparent. That makes the pride featured in this series shine as brightly as the Sabbath candles,” he said.
