At the 2nd annual Jewish Media Awards, held at Lincoln Center on November 12, 2024, “We Will Dance Again,” was honored with a Keter Shem Tov Award for its courageous and compassionate storytelling in the wake of tragedy.
The documentary, distributed by Paramount (set to merge with Skydance this Thursday), centers on the October 7th Hamas terror attack at the Nova Music Festival in Israel. It captures the heartbreak, resilience, and humanity of survivors—still reeling, but rising—from unthinkable trauma.
In his acceptance speech, director Yariv Mozer reflected on the ongoing hostage crisis and the sacred value of each life: “You save one soul as if you save the whole world. And that is our responsibility.”
Co-producer of the film and former CBS News president Susan Zirinsky, who spoke after Mozer, described the film as “deeply intimate…it’s gut-wrenching.”
