Daniel Posner of Athletes for Israel Brings Professional and Collegiate Players to the Holy Land

“I had become frustrated about all the negative narrative about Israel and all the increasing antisemitism. We started bringing professional athletes to Israel, including former NBA legends.” Daniel Posner is the founder and chairman of Athletes for Israel, which brings U.S. collegiate players and coaches, as well as professional athletes, to Israel to experience its culture, daily life, history, and innovation. He’s brought people like former NBA legends like Eddy Curry and Ray Allen, as well as the head coach of the Auburn Tigers men’s basketball team Bruce Pearl. Hear from Daniel, whose organization received the Lion of Israel Award for its advocacy and using its platform to stand with Israel at JITC’s 2nd Jewish Media Awards at Lincoln Center on November 12, 2024.
