Orthodox Jewish Children Targeted in Brooklyn Attack Spree

Police are still on the lookout for three teenagers, believed to be girls, who attacked Jewish children in Brooklyn this week. They slapped a 3-year-old boy across the face in the Clinton Hill neighborhood and then ran away. They then went to the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, where they approached a pair of Jewish sisters, aged 18 and 7 years old. The attackers grabbed the teenage sister and pulled her to the ground. A few minutes later, they saw a 9-year-old-boy and slapped him on the head several times and then took off, saying nothing during any of the attacks. All of the victims were Orthodox Jews, targeted for wearing identifiable clothing. The suspects, described as having been wearing jeans and winter coats, are being investigated by the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force. Read more here.
