Jewish Matchmaking Wins at JITC’s 2nd Jewish Media Awards 

At the 2nd annual Jewish Media Awards, held at Lincoln Center on November 12, 2024, Netflix’s Jewish Matchmaking was honored with the Keter Shem Tov Award for authentic Jewish representation in global media.

Aleeza Ben Shalom, the show’s star matchmaker, accepted the award on behalf of the series.

“We got to see Jews from all different backgrounds and all different locations and everyone accepted for who they were and celebrated for who they were,” she said.

Through Jewish Matchmaking, Aleeza has brought Orthodox Jewish values and traditions to millions of viewers worldwide—showcasing the beauty of dating with purpose, the strength of Jewish identity, and the timeless relevance of Torah concepts.
